How to get to the Hotel George or West-Show apartments? From Lviv railway station: The easiest way to get to the centre of Lviv is to take a taxi. Near the main entrance of the railway station a lot of taxi-drivers always offer to give you a lift to any place in town. So, you just have to tell one of them that you need to get to Svobody Avenue (“Prospect Svobody”), 1/3 or to the Hotel George, which is just nearby. The taxi costs about 20 UAH (approximately 3 €), but sometimes foreigners can be charged more. So it’s always better to agree the price in advance. If you don’t want to take a taxi you can take a minibus: Exactly from the railway station where no minibuses going straight to the hotel, but you can walk for about 4 minutes to Horodotska Street (near the Local Train Station) and there you can take any of the following minibuses: № 91, 94, 53, 29, 29a, 75, 75a. Don’t forget that you should get off at Svobody Avenue (“Prospect Svobody”) near the central Sport shop. Minibus ticket costs 1 UAH (about 0.15 €). Another a little bit more complicated way from the railway station is to take a tram № 1or № 9. Tram № 1: you should get off on the 6-th stop, near the monument of Taras Shevchenko. Then turn right and walk along Svobody Avenue for about 100 meters until you are near the West-Show apartments. 100 meters further along the Svobody Avenue and you are near the Hotel George. Tram № 9: you should get off on the 10-th tram stop, again near the monument of Taras Shevchenko. Then the same way: you turn left and walk along Svobody Avenue for 100 meters. Tram ticket costs 0.5 UAH (about 0.08 €). The address of the West-Show office is Prospect Svobody, 1/3, room 5 (that’s where you can collect the keys).
