Pylypets
Pylypets is an up-and-coming ski area 12 km to the south of the Volovets train station, which is on the Kiev-Uzhhorod train line. The ski lifts (tows, actually) are new, and there has been a lot of construction there recently. For example, some cottages have been built near the top of the new ski run, which rises to nearly 1200 m above sea level from a base of 800 m.
 

Location: Pylypets village, Zakarpats’ky region. Hotel: The comfortable hotel “Shepit Karpat” is located in picturesque and ecologic part of the Carpathian mountains - Verhovyna city, in 5 kilometers from the main road Uzhorod-Myzhhirya, near the biggest Carpathians waterfall Shypit. A newly built hotel “Shepit Karpat” can comfortably accommodate up to 45 persons. There is also wooden cottages on the territory of the hotel, designed for 4 persons.

The hotel “Gazdivska Hyzha” is located in Pylypets village, 2,5 km from the main road and ski lifts. Drive – asphalt road.
