Kamyanka

Kamyanka  village

Those who are going to stay with us at this remote and picturesque village are offered the following program:
Day 1. Accommodating. Walking to the noisy waterfall  in narrow and winding valley of the river Kamyanka.
Day 2. Trip to Dead Lake and exploring caves using vertical equipment,  or prior rock climbing   lessons at spectacular rock relics.
Local rock relics really resemble carved from stone giant figures of Pacific Easter Island. At depths of the earth of that place there is a considerable amount of tectonic caves, many of which as for today still remain unexplored. As to Dead Lake, unfortunately, it is really dying – what used to be a picturesque mountain pool 10 years ago with an island in the middle, today converted into typical peat moor.
Day 3. Climbing up mountain Klyuch. Viewing rocky faults and vertical cave Pilgrim.   Here the grave of Sichovi Striltsi is located—legendary Ukrainian warriors of the World War I times. Not far from the top of the mountain you can find an unique natural formation – tectonic fault which rather resembles a canyon washed by water. Vertical cave Pilgrim is just one of the numerous consequences of geological forces influence on forming these absolutely chaotic shapes of the earth surface.
Day 4. Walking-tour to Zelemyanka and Lopata mountains.

Yamelnitsa

Yamelnitsa village.

It is an unique village surrounded by 8 groups of rocks. You can get here not only by car, on horseback, but also by water. So, our programme of an active leisure of this place includes the following:
Day 1. Horseback riding or biking trek.
Day 2. Accommodating. Walking to the nearest rocks. Overnight stay in cave at 1200.
Nobody knows why but for some reason people call this place just like this. A range of rock relics rise above the eastern slope of absolutely wild overgrown with wood valley. Each of rocks is easy to climb from the slope side, opening exciting view, while from the other side the height of these natural sightseeing grounds is simply breathtaking. In the middle of one of them a cave is situated with the way out to a kind of balcony, quite suitable for overnight stop. This place is well hidden in thickets – primitive people maybe  settled at natural shelters just like that.

Day 3. Coming back from 1200.
Day 4. Walking-tour to Tustan fortress.
Giant rocky massif, on walls of which here and there a mighty fortress was mounted. Today only caved in the rock slots, larders, passages and  a well are left of it. Numerous rocky paintings according to archeologist M. Bandrivsky evidently indicate pre-Christian history of this amazing place.

Day 5. Involving in rock climbing at Shyjaty.
A considerable amount of various as to both size and surface type rocks makes this place really unique training base for climbing. On the other side, hardly ever someone will interfere doing this activity at these almost impassable and wild places.

Day 6. Trekking to Parashka mountain.
Day 7. Climbing up Kichera mountain, where paragliding training will take place.
A wonderful place for paragliding flights. From the mountain view opens on the river Stryj valley on one side, and view on Tustan fortress valley, on the other side. In winter it is quite available for skiing or snowboarding if lack of lifts doesn’t scare you. Alternatively, more professional and equipped alp
ine skiing slope is Trostyan mountain, where one of the most difficult alpine skiing track in the former Soviet Union is located.
