Lviv region is the most convenient and easy place to go when planning the trip to the Carpathian mountains. All resorts of this region are accessible by any means of transport going from Lviv, Kyiv, and Kharkiv. Well-known resort located in Lviv region is Slavsko ski resort (sometimes called Slavske). It is located only 120 km from Lviv on the Kyiv-Uzhhorod railroad. Perhaps this fact alone made it the most popular ski resort in Ukraine for many years.
