There are many places in the Carpathian Mountains that are called Dovbush Rocks. One of these places is not far away from Bolehiv in Ivano-Frankivsk region. These unique rocks lie along 26 hectares of the picturesque park territory. The forest path is creeping between the rocks like a snake. There is nothing here except for a wild nature. According to legend, every mysterious stone of huge rocks is a part of the legendary hero's body and a person who touches the stone that is a his heart can make a wish and it will come true.

At a height of 900 m. there is a lake, which is called Dead lake, because nobody knows where the water comes from. As a legend has it, Dovbush’s treasures are hidden somewhere in this lake.
You could hold a picnic on a meadow, ride a horse or have a lunch in one of the wooden restaurants located nearby. When the weather is fine you could walk to the rocks that is around 4 km of length to feel the beauty and forest soul of the local nature. There are also souvenir stands during the tourist season where you can choose something  for yourself.
