Rafting - Opir river
Rafting along the river Opir.
Rafting on the touristic raft catamarans down the Opir river is one of the most interesting trips: picturesque landscapes, 200 meter-high rocky canyon, travertine rocks and geological outcrops, caves and grottos, fairy islands, natural, historical and architectural monuments.
Price: 150 UAH per person;
Season: May-September.

On the route: Synyevydskyi canyon, whitewater, several drops.

The warm climate in the canyon differs this area from the other in Western Ukraine. The rocks detain solar heat during the summer, so that it almost never rains; greenness bloom 2-3 weeks faster in spring. There is a large number of rare plants, animals, and birds in this reserve.

Paddling and crossing make tourists concentrate on their skills and attention. The 3 whitewater grade requires significant maneuvering so that each group member influences on agility of catamarans and therefore safety.

The route begins in Skole and passes simple but spectacular 2 grade whitewater. Immediately after that Dubinsky rocks appear, overcoming of which can be photographed from the bridge at the Kamjanka waterfall.

This rafting trip is good for groups – beginners and with basic paddling skills. It is necessary to have a passport or other ID and insurrance.

Clothes for a trip:
- Shorts / thin trousers (protecting from the sunburns);
- T-shirt / shirt / bandanna (protecting from the sunburns);
- Shoes, sneakers. We recommend you not to go rafting in slippers and sandals as they might be flown by the river!;
- Blazers;
- Swimsuit; 
- Waterproof jacket (in case of rain);
- Sunglasses;
- Sun-protection cream;
- Large towel.
